Plateau Again Takes Honours in Principal Handicap
The Otaki Maori Ragtag Club’s spring meeting was concluded on Saturday In dull overcast weather. Bain commenced to fall shortly after lunch and it continued for the rest of the day. The attendance was quite good and would have been larger hut for the threat of rain. The totalisator handled £5876, as compared with £6681 15s for the corresponding day Inst year. Tor the meeting the, total was £12,339, as compared with £13,553 15s, the decrease being £llsl IBs. '.Following are the detailed results: —
