And there are the cutest Hat and Scarf Sets in string too—lovely 2 tone colourings, and the price?— 9/6 set! Silk pique, fugi silk, spun silk—the three musketeers of tennis wear! The frock I’ve drawn for you is most inexpensively priced at 16/11—is in fugi, and is only one of many delightful styles. .A gored skirt; of cream wool fabric (14/9) is indispensable, and worn with one of the cute little lacy wool jumpers at only 7/6, would he the last word in smartness. Hats combine usefulness with smartness as never before, the model sketched is a typical example, becoming style, softly draped and tucked crown, all colours—and priced at but 15/6. And little coats—swagger styles—that slip on over everything from tennis frocks to five o’clock gowns—made of woven wool fabrics, velours and many other fascinating materials and priced at 29/6 to 35/-.
