From Our Own Correspondent. A very pleasant meeting was held on Friday when the Gospel Hall Sunday School held their annual treat for Children. A very dainty tea was served, followed by a short service of prayer and song. Mr. Alan Stevenson, superintendent of the Sunday School, stated that owing to so much sickness, the children’s items would be somewhat abbreviated. The following programme was presented: Song, by children; recitation, Ernest Waghorn; recitation, Pattie Corlett; chorus, Doug. 'Waghorn, Eric Wilton and Neil Simpson; dialogue, John Waghorn, Bernie Wilton and Keith Simpson; song, the children; dialogue, Joyce Corlett, Dulcie Atkinson and Jessie Rankin; recitation, June Simpson; song, Ihe children; dialogue, Dave Waghorn, G. Stevenson, John Waghorn, Jessie Rankin, Marlene Atkinson and Malyse Atkinson; solo, Grace Ramage; recitation, Josie McGill; dialoguo, Neil Simpson, Ray Boots, Doug. Waghorn and G. Stevenson; chorus, the children. Mr. R. Hewitson addressed the children, taking as his text "Signs.” Mr. Hewitson then distributed the prizes gained during the year. Mr. and Mrs. Mervyn Parr, of Wellington, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Parr, Mr. S. Ross, of Khandallah. "was a visitor to Tokomavu during the Week-end.
