AFTERNOON TEA CAKES
Ingredients: — 3 breakfastcup flour; 2 heaped dosertspoons sugar; 3ox, butter; I egg (well beaten); 3. teaspoon baking podwer; jam (raspberry preferred); milk. Method:—- Eub butter into flour, add sugar and baking powder, mix well, then add egg and sufficient milk to make a light dough. Eoll and cut into rounds; place a little raspberry jam on each, wet edges, and fold over. Put on cold greased oven shelf, and bake about 10 minutes.
