Starr-Bowkett Building Society

The monthly meeting of the directors of the "starr-Bowkett was held last evening, Mr F. Jackson presiding. Others present were Messrs J. B. Ocrrand, M. A. Eliott, D. F. Smilhc, S. JWatson and H. F. Wilson. Loans for £SOO drawn in No. 3 group were deposited pending security being submitted. Loans for £SOO and £-100 were completed in No. 4 group, and WOO was completed. A loan of £SOO was approved in No. 5 group. A ±o0(i loan was approved and loans for £ooo and £IOOO were authorised in No. t> group; £6OO was approved in No. 7 -roup, and £3OO each were completed Tn No. 9 group and £SOO approved subject to valuation in No. 10 group. The reports as to general payments was received and considered very satisfactory, the reduced instalments temporarily granted being well sustained.
