Successful Party For Plunket Queen

Airs. John Murray was hostess at a most successful afternoon at College House yesterday arranged to further the candidature of the Plunkct Queen, Aliss Joan Barnett. There was an excellent atendancc. Bridge and i competition provided pleasing diversion. The floral decorations carried out in the candidate’s colours, red and green, were most attractive in tho-sit-ting room and dining room and particularly in tho large Toom where delicious tea was served. The competition winner was Airs. E. C. Bennett, prize winners at bridge being Airs, ltabone (highest score) ami Airs. L. Laurcnson (hidden number). Before the party terminated opportunity was taken by Colonel J. H. Whyte to return thanks to Air. and Airs. Murray for their gracious hospitality and to the ladies for their attendance.
