The dust nuisance in Beattie and Denbigh streets, Feilding, was complained of by Cr. A. J. Hellow atast evening’s meeting of the Feilding Borough Council. The Mayor (Mr C. E. Taylor) explained the terms of the agreement, and said that it was satisfactory to the borough and hoped it -would also be satisfactory (to the county. Reference to the action of the borough engineer in standing down a relief- worker for threatening behaviour, was made at last evening’s meeting of the Feilding Borough Council when the Mayor briefly set out the circumstances and moved that Mr Hay’s action be confirmed.
