Twenty-first Birthday Happily Honoured
To celebrate the coming-of-age of their daughter, Ethel, a very enjoyable party was given by Mr and Mrs A. <3. Bulliman at their residence, The Beach, Waikanae, on Saturday evening. Games and competitions, interspersed with community singing, were indulged .in until supper time. A. large birthday cake ornamented with 21 candles adorned the supper-table. The toast of the guest of honour was then made by Mr K. Johnson, Sir Bulliman replying on behalf of his daughter. A happy party then concluded before midnight with the singing of “Auld Lang Sync.” Those present Included Mr and Mrs A. J. Bulliman, Mr and Mrs It. Kershaw, Mr and Mrs J. 'V. Kimsley, Mr and Mrs W. Pink, Mrs Wcggenoy, Miss E. Bullimau, Miss M. Shailer (Pnlmorston North), Messrs K, Johnson, H. and D. 'Pink.
