Sweet Peas Give Names to Pastel Shades

Sis sweet peas recently exhibited by the Royal Horticultural Society in ondon have given their names to the pastel ghades sponsored by tho British Colour Council for evening wear. They are Nanette, sweet lavender, royal mauve, debutante (a lovely shade of pink), cavalcade and thriller, the two last being deeper and more exotic shades of debutante. Seventy-eight different shades for kitwear figure in the Colour Council’s list, moss green, maidenhair and evergreen being favourites, in Paris as well as London. Other charming shades, whoso names alone recommend them, are grape juice, rose dawn, sea haze, October gold, nutmeg and Zulu.
