Summer Golf at Hokowhitu

GLENDINNING CUP The Alanawatu Golf Club’s annua, summer competitions will commence during the week-end, and will continue each week until Alarch 14. Each of the weekly matches is a separate event, and in addition the highest aggregate of points scored by any club member over tho series wins the Glendinning challenge cup. A new interest attaches to these competitions this year, in that Mr. K. Glendinning has generously donated a new cup to replace the original one which he provided five years ago to encourage summer play at a time when it was just beginning to gain popularity. The original cup will become the property of any previous winner who scores the highest points in this year's competitions.
