Kowhai Rebekah Lodge

On Wednesday evening tho Kowhai Rebekah Lodge held its fortnightly meeting with P.N.G. Sister M. Nesbit in the chair. One new member, Miss M. Davis, w T as initiated into the order. Following the business of the meeting supper was served. A competition was won by P.N.G. Sister Knight, while the second prize was annexed by V.G. Sister Guy. Ou Tuesday evening, 18 members of Kowhai Lodge journeyed to Rongotea to play for the Northern Shield. Tho visitors proved successful in the euchre games and brought back the trophy. The visitors were hospitably treated by members of the sister 3odge at Rongotea, and they report having enjoyed a pleasant evening.
