Help for Patriotic Funds
FEILDING’S CONTRIBUTION GROWS District helji towards building up the Provincial Patriotic Fund for the benefit of members of the Forces overseas continues with gratifying activity and yesterday further donations were received by the Zone- E executive officer, Mr. C. H. Tate, town clerk, Feilding. Very commendable efforts are being made by the several district patriotic sub-committees and this concentration upon, building up essential resources is indivative of a growing realisation that this paramount fund should not be neglected. No other cause calls for greater recognition and the Feilding and district patriotic organisation is determined to ensure that no effort is spared to build this fund up : as rapidly as possible. No matter in .which arm of the services a member the armed forces serves he will benefit through this fund which is designed to meet the needs.of soldier, sailor and airman.
