ARRIVAL AT AUCKLAND

AUCKLAND,’ 7th January. A party of Australian bowlers arrived by the Ulimaroa to-day, and will compete in tlie Dominion championships opening here next Monday. Tlie party was welcomed by Mr James Pascoe, Dominion president, and Mr J. M. Thomson, Auckland president. The leader of the party, Mr T. Yates, in replying to the official welcome, said it was difficult to make up a large touring team, owing to the economic conditions in Australia, but two rinks had arrived, and a third was due by the Niagara next Monday. After the tournament the whole party will visit Hamilton, (New Plymouth, Wanganui, Palmerston North, Masterton, Wellington, and Christchurch. Those who arrived to-day are going to Rotorua immediately.
