CHECK TO FIRE HAZARDS
Elimination of serious fire hazards in places of public assembly has been made possible by development of new processes for dyeing and printing decorative fabrics woven of incombustible glass fibres. The Boston night club fire of 1942, the burning of the steamship Morro Castle, and the Chicago Iroquois Theatre fire had all found inflammable interior decoration helping the fire spread. In weight most of the materials compare with damask or heavy satin. They fall into attractive folds, but do not retain wrinkles. All can be dry-cleaned and the whites can be laundered and ironed. Because they 1 are made of glass they are mothproof. Also, they will not rot or disintegrate under the severest climatic conditions, and they will not stretch or sag under changes in humidity. —(“Christian Science Monitor.**
