COTTON GROWING.
LONDON, February 28. Mr Brodrick. Secretary for India, speaking at Manchester, promised to stimulate cotton-growing in India. Ho said Burmah was a possible field whore growing might bo undertaken on a large scale by means of some form of indentured labour.
