Captain Edwin telegraphs to-day as follows : Wind.—Gale from between north-east and north and west at all places westward of Tauranga, Taupo, and Castle Point; and also in the f-'oufch Island, and changing to between west and south-west and south at all places eouth of Lyttelton and Hokitika •after 12 hoars; but a gale between north and west and south-west between Taupo, East Cape, and Napier. Earometer will fall at all places, but will rise south of Lyttelton and Hokitika after 12 hours. Sea —Very heavy on all western ooaßt and heavy on East Coast north of East Cape and. south ' of Napier. Tides'.—Good between East Cape and Napier; high elsewhere.
