The Weather.
Captain Edwin telegraphs to-day as follows:
Wind. —Strong from between N.E. and N. and West at all places northward of East Cape, Taupo, and New Plymouth, and from between W. and S.W. and S. between East Cape, Taupo, and Napier ; ( gale after from 12 to 20 hours from between N.E. and N. and W'. elsewhere. Barometer.—Fall everywhere. Sea.— Heavy on all western coast after 16 hours, also on east coast south of Napierj moderate/at aU other places; Tides.— all western coast, also on east coaßc south of Napier; moderate from thence northward. '
