Dunedin Markets.
(BY TELEGRAPH.) (PROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT. ) Dunedin, November 21. Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report that prices ruled as under at their auction sale to-day:— Oats.—We submitted a fair catalogue of medium to good feed lines. The few lots sold were quitted at a slight advance on late quotations, but in the absence of buyers for most of those on offer we passed the bulk at auction and afterwards dealt privately for same at satisfactory values. Good to best feed sold at Is lOd to Is lid; inferior and medium, Is 9d to Is 9£4 per bushel, sacks extra. Wheat.—A few sales of prime milling are passing, but medium quality is not in request. Good whole fowl wheat sells at 2s 9d to 2s lOd; medium, 2s 6d to 2s 9d; broken, 2s 3d to 2s 5d per bushel, sacks in. Potatoes.—The demand for Derwents was not quite so keen to-day, but most of those in good condition were quitted at L 9 to 19 10s ; small and inferior, LI 10s to L2 10s per ton, sacks in. Chaff.—The demand to-day was much easier, and prime quality met with fair sale at quotations, but medium and light were difficult to place. We quote: Best oaten sheaf, L 3 5s to L 3 10s; medium, L2 15s to L 3 per ton, sacks extra.
