Mrs E. O. Martin, of Oamaru, is visiting her mother, Mrs A. H. Allen. Mrs W. Robertson is spending a vacation with friends in Christchurch. Mrs J. R. Copland, Mayoress of Balclutha, has left for a visit to Auckland. Misses Kathleen Falconer, Stella Fitchett and Audrey Ainge have returned from a visit to Mount Cook. Representatives of women's organisations will meet on Thursday morning for further discussion on the entertainment of United States troops on leave. Mrs Rebecca Wilkins and Miss Helen Frost, probably the oldest twin sisters in ! Dunedin, celebrated their seventy-second birthday yesterday at their residence, 16 Eglinton road.
