APPEAL FOR KNITTERS

Owing to the urgency that exists for scarves, balaclavas, and mittens for the men overseas, and in camp in New Zealand, the Mayoress's Patriotic Committee is making a special appeal for more knitting. Anyone who is willing to do extra knitting is asked to get in touch with the war convener of her patriotic zone committee as quickly as' possible. The need for these articles is very great.
