PLUNKET SOCIETY
A DOMINION APPEAL. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, December 11. In the course of a meeting of the Plunket Society to-night the Hon. G. W. Russell announced that for the week ending January 27th he would make an appeal to the country in aid of the Society’s work. He had asked the churches to inaugurate theh campaign on the preceding Sunday, and would be disappointed if between £IO,OOO and £20,000 were not raised.
