GONVILLE TRAMWAY ROUTE
To the Editor. Sir,—As a property owner in the fJor.ville district. I am more or less cmfused over the question of the ; route of tho proposed tramways. At a :mbnc meeting held recently in Gonville 1 understood that it was decided to have a main line of trams via Alma Road to Castlecliff, also a loop line through Tawa Street and x,he Golf Links, connecting at Puriri Street. As my,property would be practically on the Alma iiond line, imagine my surprise on perusing a sale plan of the golf links procerty to find the main line altogether omitted. On inquiry I am told that at least one of the syndicate owning thif. land is also a prominent member of tho Tramway Board, and I would suggest that in fairness to the public that an explanation be given as to whethsr the main line of the tramway scheme was omitted from the plan inadvertently ov not?—l am, etc..
