ST. JOHN'S CLUB.
The beautiful weather' of Saturday iifternoon saw play in lull swing on St. •John's green, and several club matches were got off, including four full-rink games. The teams were evenly matched, so much so that on two of the four •.
rinks a tie resulted on the 21st head and the issue had to be decided by an extra head. The play-off gave Ball a lead of four points over M. R'-sscll, and Glasgow n< lead of two points over Miller. In the game between Simpsou and J. Laird's rinks the result was decided on the last head. In addition to the pairs, several pairs and singles were played, as well as a practice full rink game. Afternoon tea was provided by Mrs C. Tustin and Mrs J. Ball, assisted by Miss Vida Tingey. The following are the results of the day's play:— Rink Matches (Club fours).—Parkes,
