. WELLINGTON, December 3. A judicious "boiling down" policy in connection with Hansard was urged this evening by Mr J C. Thomson? The present cost of this publication he said n-aa over £4000 a year, hut if the reports of speeches were curtailed as could be done without impairing tho efficiency %ncl? valuo of Hansard, the sum of i-JULiO a year could be saved.
