A LATE SITTING.
Tho House sat till 25 minutes to four yesterday morning, the time between midnight and the adjournment being principally taken up with a long discussion on affairs connected with the. recent inquiry into the management ot the Land and Income Tax Department. Members of the Opposition again urged that tho report of the Judges siioulcl be laid on the table, but the Prime Minister again steadfastly refused to comply with tho request, saying that to do so would involve publicity being given to affairs of private persons. The House' sat again at ten o clock, and put through a large number of local Bills.
