COLLEGE v T.Y.M.I.
School won the toss and owing to the fibsence of two of thoir batsmen,' put T.Y.M.I, in to bat. Runs came quickly on a fast wicket and with only four wickets down for 100 it looked as though T.Y.M.I, were gome: to put up a big score. However, Spurdle, who had played very well for his 31, was then well caught by Wheeler in the slips, and the remaining batsmen were easily disposed of. The innings closed for 112. The School innings "was disastrous; despite the absence of two men there is no accounting for such a poor score as 41 oil a. fast, although somewhat lumpy wicket. Price played well for his 8 tii'l ho foolishly ran himself out, and besides him Pearoe who got 10 not out was the only cne who looked like staying. In their nerond innings T.Y.M.T. fared nr, disastrously as their opponents. Andreao clean bowlcrl Parker in Ins fu-s/fc over, and though .Spurdle again made a stand, all the other batsmen were easily dismissed, and when time was "railed" 8 wickets were down for 36.
