MR J F. MOOSMAN.
Aaother old and respected resident of Wanganui has passed away, in the person of Mr John Fredeline Moosman. Mr Mnosman. who had reached the ripe old age of 82 years, arrived in Wanganui with his family in 1876. He entered into business as a market gardener, and, actively assisted by his loyal and worthy helpmeet, he lived a busy and industrious life. Mr Moosman retired from business about two and a hall' years ago. During that period ho did not enjoy the bes£ of health, and for the pavt four months lie had been confined to his bed. The end came on Saturday night, the good old townsman breathing'his last at his son's residence, Edgeware Aramoho. Although the late Mr Moosman took no pait in public affairs, his sons are well "known in athletic and shooting circles. Mr Moosman k;tves a widow, five sons, eighteen grandchildren, and two great-grand-children. The sons are Mr J. E. Moosman, farmer, of Eltham; Mr Adolph Moor-nnii, employed in the railway service r.t Kawea; Mr. Alnlio'liso Mcosmnii, n'" *'•« v/ell-knoAvn local plumbing: (i-in o.: ila'.ligan and Moosman; Mr Wt-ido Moosman, farmer, of Aramoho; and Mr John Frerdeline Moosman, employed in the Borough service.
