N.Z.L.M.A. CO.'S REPORT.
The New Zealand Loan and .Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report for the week ending December 10th as folio ws:— At Apiti on Tuesday we had a small entry of sheep, chiefly wethers, which were dull of sale. Cattle came forward in small numbers. AYe quote :— Fat ewes 9s 6d, dairy cows in milk £4 to £3 ss, springing heifers £4, 15----mos. heifers £2 3s to £2 ss, yearling : te.rs £2 2s to £2 6s.
At Feilding on Friday there was a good yarding of both sheep and cattle, fcheep sold at late rates, but the den and for cattle was not animated. A\"e quote:—2-th wethers 10s to 10s 4d, 2-th ewes 11s lid to 12s lid, ewes and lambs 7s 2d all counted, forward cows £3 9s 6d to £3 10s, fat cows £4 bs, yearling steois £3 9s to £2, 15-mos. lui'eis £2 10s, empty cows £3 3s Gd.
