A CHILD DROWNED.
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 28
A boy named David William McCabe, aged 2 years and 11 months, was drowned this afternoon. He was found at the back of his father's residence. It is stated that the child was playing in the back yard and apparently crawled through a hole in the fence and fell into the water.
