INQUEST.
(Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, May 28
At the inquest on the body of James Walsh, found in the harbour, the evidenon iftowed that the deceased was p^sent at a meeting of returned soldiers last night. He was last seen about 9.30. When found, the body was fully clothed, including hat and overcoat. Deceased left New Zealand with the 14th Reinforcements, returning in January. He had been wounded in a knee and gassed. Since returning he had shown signs of nervous affection, but was naturally of a bright disposition.
A verdict o£ found drowned was returned.
Deceased's relatives reside at Opawa, Christchurch.
