W.C.T.U.
DISTRICT CONVENTION. OPENS THIS EVENING. An important gathering of members of the W.C.T.U. will be held to-day and to-morrow, the occasion being the District Convention. Delegates will be welcomed in Trinity Schoolroom at 7.30 this evening. The speaker will be Mrs. Perryman. To-morrow will be devoted to business sessions, which will commence at 9.30, In the evening a big temperance rally will be held in Wanganui East Methodist Schoolroom. A cordial welcome is extended to all.
