AN IFORMATION WITHDRAWN.
SYDNEY, June 10. The charge against Johnson was withdrawn, the Crown counsel intimating that the strike was almost over, and that the action was being withdrawn in the interest of industrial peace. (Jacob Johnson, assistant secretary of the Seamen’s Union, was charged with persuading seamen on the steamer Chillagoe. to commit breaches of their agreement with the owners of the steamer )
