(3.) Otago Provincial District. The sum of £1,748 10s. was quite recently realized from the sale of a portion of Lumsden Township. The money is in the Treasury awaiting investment, in terms of the " The Otago Reserves Act, 1874." In no other cases than the preceding is it reported that moneys have been received from the sale or rental of reserves for investment. In all cases the ordinary rental is reported as being appropriated to the current expenditure of the several Education Boards. IV.—PROPERTY VESTED IN EDUCATION BOARDS. The property vested in Education Boards, other than the lands hereinbefore enumerated, consists of school sites, schoolhouses, schoolmasters' residences, school furniture, school appliances, &c.
