WEST COAST SETTLEMENT RESERVES DISTRICT LEASES (RETURN OF).
Beturn to an Order of the House of Representatives, dated 24th July, 1890. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House—(l) a return showing the names of lessees under confirmed leases in the West Coast Settlement Reserves District, the area held by each lessee, the rent under the confirmed leases, and the rents under the arbitration awards, and renewal of the said leases; (2) a return showing the area of each lease granted by the Public Trustee other than confirmed leases, the rents reserved by such leases, the reductions in such rents, and the periods for which the same are reduced ; (3) a return of all rents in arrear in respect of any of the lands in the said reserves, whether confirmed or original leases, the period for which such rent has been in arrear, and proceedings taken to enforce payment of each of such arrears: and that such returns be printed."— (Mr. Taipua.)
