No. 29. The Agent-General to the Colonial Treasurer. (No. 515.) Westminster Chambers, 13, Victoria Street, London, S.W., Sir— 7th May, 1895. I beg to inform you that, in accordance with the terms of the prospectus, copy of which went with my letter, No. 452, of the 26th ultimo, tenders were received on the 3rd instant at the Bank of England for the issue of £1,500,000 New Zealand Government 3-per-cent. Inscribed Stock. The applications amounted to £5,960,400, at prices varying from £100 to £90, the minimum. Tenders at £94 Bs. receive about 33 per cent, of the amount applied for, those above that price being allotted in full.
