NORTH ISLAND MAIN TRUNK RAILWAY-LINE EXPLORATION. (COST OF EXPLORATION BY HON. MR. CADMAN AND HIS STAFF.)
• Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 16th June, 1896. Ordered, " That a return be laid before this House showing the cost of the explorations made by the Hon. Mr. Cadman and his staff on the following routes : (1) From Hunterville to Te Kawakawa, via Tokaanu and the Puketapu Bush; (2) from Te Kuiti to Stratford, or Ngaire, over what is known as the Stratford route for the proposed North Island Main Trunk Rail way-line."—(Mr. Lawby.)
