The Inspector reports that the only sleepingaccommodation provided at one station was a " black hole," without any windows or ventilation, and bunks like pigeon-holes. The use of this has been discontinuea, ana a new buiiaing erectea. Accommodation good ; but as the shearing is all done by Maoris they prefer sleeping in tents. Three stations have insufficient accommodation, but the owners have promised that the alterations required by the Inspector will be carried out in time for next shearing.
