Buller. This district is bounded towards the north-east generally by the Motueka Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the mouth of the Ngakawhau River, on the west coast, to Faerie Queen, on the summit of the Spenser Mountains : thence towards the south-east by the summit of the Spenser Mountains to the watershed between the Grey and Maruia Rivers : thence towards the south-west generally by the summit of that watershed to Mount Haast; thence by the summit of the western watershed of the Inangahua River over Trig. Stations G, P, 0, and A, Waitahu Survey District, to the source of the Devil's Creek; thence by the watershed between Devil's Creek and Slab Hut Creek and the watershed between the Inangahua River and the Mawhera-iti River to the source of the said Mawhera-iti River ; and thence by the leading spur to the summit of the main range leading to Mount Faraday ; thence by the summit of that range to Mount Faraday: thence again towards the south-east by the summit of the Paparoa Mountains to a point due east of the source of the Pororari River : thence again towards the south-west by a right line to the source of the Pororari River, and by the Pororari River aforesaid to the sea: and thence towards the west and north-west by the ocean to the mouth of the Ngakawhau River aforesaid, the place of commencement. Grey. This district is bounded towards the north-east generally by the Buller Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the mouth of the Pororari River, on the west coast, to the watershed near the source of the Grey River : thence towards the south-east by the summit of the main range leading to the saddle between the north branch of the Hurunui River and the Taramakau River : thence towards the south-west by a right line to where the Arnold River debouches from Lake Brunner: thence again towards the south-east by Lake Brunner to the mouth of the eastern Hohonu River: thence again towards the south-west generally by that river to a point due east of the confluence of Foley's Creek with Blackwater Creek: thence by a right line in the direction of the confluence of the said creeks to the summit of the range leading northerly to the source of the Eight-mile Creek; thence by the summit of that range and by Eight-mile Creek to the New River ; thence by the New River to Maori Creek Road; thence by that road to the A.K. Road; thence by the last-mentioned road to Card's Creek, and by Card's Creek to a bend in that creek about 50 chains east of Section No. 2027, Waimea Survey District ; thence by a right line to the confluence of Hughes's Creek with the Taramakau River, and thence by the said Taramakau River to the sea : and thence towards the west by the sea to the mouth of the Pororari River aforesaid, the place of commencement. Westland. This district is bounded towards the north and north-east generally by the Grey Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the mouth of the Taramakau River, on the west coast, to the saddle between the north branch of the Hurunui River and the Taramakau River; thence towards the south-east by the summit of the Southern Alps to Mount Aspiring; thence towards the south-west by a right line to the mouth of the Awarua River in Big Bay ; and thence towards the north-west by the ocean to the Grey Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement. Wairau. This district is bounded towards the north-west generally by the Motueka Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from Tophouse to the summit of the watershed between the Wairau and Pelorus Valleys, and by the City of Nelson Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the entrance to Pelorus Sound : thence towards the east generally and towards the south-east by Cook Strait and the sea to the Ure River : thence towards the south by the Ure River to its source, near Big Cregan, on the Kaikoura Range ; thence by a right line to Big Cregan on the Kaikoura Range ; thence again towards the south-east by the summit of the Kaikoura Range over Tapuaenuka and Mount Monro to Barefell Pass : and thence towards the south-west by a right line to Tophouse aforesaid : including Arapawa, The Brothers, and ajacent islands. Hurunui. This district is bounded towards the north-east and north-west generally by the Wairau Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from Tophouse to the mouth of the Ure River at the sea-coast: thence towards the south-east by the sea to the Ashley River: thence towards the south and west by the said Ashley River to its source ; thence by the summit of the range leading to Esk Head Peak : thence again towards the south-west by the summit of the range leading over the Candlesticks to the source of the south branch of the Hurunui River ; thence by a right line to the saddle between the north branch of the Hurunui River and the Taramakau River : thence again towards the north-west by the Grey Electoral District, hereinbefore described, the Buller Electoral District, hereinbefore described, and the Motueka Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the Wairau Electoral District aforesaid at Tophouse, the place of commencement. Kaiapoi. This district is bounded towards the north by the Hurunui Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from a point on the left bank of the Ashley River in line with a right line joining Trig. Station 16, Mairaki Survey District, and the north-western corner of Section No. 9791 of the said Mairaki Survey District, to the mouth of the Ashley River: thence towards the east by Pegasus Bay to the mouth of the Waimakariri River : thence towards the south generally by the right bank of the said Waimakariri River to the confluence of the north branch of that river with the south branch thereof; thence again by the right bank of the W T aimakariri River aforesaid to a point due south of the easternmost extremity of Section No. 11253 (island in the Waimakariri
