EXCHANGE OF LAND AT WOODWARD STREET AND WELLINGTON TERRACE (CORRESPONDENCE, ETC., RELATING TO).

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the Ist July, 1908. Ordered, "That there be laid before this House all correspondence, plans, &c, relating to the alleged exchange of land at Woodward Street and Wellington Terrace between the Government, the Wellington City Council, and the company of T. K. Macdonald (Limited)."- (Mr. Fisheb).

Department of Lands and Survey, District Office, Wellington, 11th November, 1901. The Surveyor-General, Wellington. I'nclaimed Lands, City of Wellington. I havk the honour to forward herewith a tracing and two descriptions of parts of Section 488, City of Wellington, in order that the lots may be gazetted as Crown lands in terms of sections G and li of "The New Zealand Company's Land Claimants Act, 1892," and its amendments. 9443. Description of Land to be reserved. Land District of Wellington. All that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement four and two-tenths perches, more or less, being part of Section No. 488, City of Wellington Survey District. Bounded towards the north by part of Section 488, one hundred and thirty-six and seventenths (1.')6'7) links; towards the east by a roadway, nineteen and one-tenth (lit'l) links; towards the south by part of Section 488, one hundred and thirty-nine and one-tenth (139"1) links; and towards the west by Wellington Terrace, nineteen (19) links : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington. For Crown land.
