The lessees of Whangawehi No. lα, Whaitiri No. 2, and Pakowhai (Section 3) are not entitled to any compensation for improvements. The lessees of Tawapata South No. 1 are entitled to compensation for improvements on the termination of their lease. The lessees of the other blocks are entitled to compensation for improvements in the event of their not accepting renewals for the further term of twenty-one years.
