Praying for a compassionate allowance in respect of the death of her husband, Thomas Charles Parker, as the result of an accident whilst discharging his duties as a linesman in the employ of the Post and Telegraph Department. No. 325.—Petition of George E. Sole, of New Plymouth. Praying for issue of further scrip in place of scrip previously issued and lost, or money value of same, for military services rendered. I am directed to report that, in the opinion of the Committee, the scrip having been granted, the Government, if they are satisfied that no payment has been made, be recommended to issue new scrip, or make a money grant in lieu thereof. 15th October, 1912.
