No. 23 (1913).—Petition of Te Wakaiti tb Aokatoa and 2 Others, of Kihikihi. Praying that Wharepuhunga Block No. 12b be returned to them. f am directed to report that, as the matter is still sub judice, the Committee has no recommendation to make with regard to this petition. 30th July, 1913.

Prayino for an inquiry re the administration by the East Coast Commissioner of Maraetaha No. Id (or Te Kopua) Block, Te Kuri Block, and Tangotete Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks, and for the said blocks to be returned to them, the Native owners. I am directed to report that, in the opinion of the Committee, this petition should be referred to the Government for consideration and inquiry. :ilst July, 1913,
