I hereby certify that the Revenue Accounts and balance-sheet have been duly examined and compared with the relative books and documents submitted for audit, and correctly state the position as disclosed thereby, except that —(I) The accounts include charges against the Department for rent, interest on capital, and £935,048, the value of assets taken over from War Expenses Account, for which there is no appropriation of Parliament, and also credits for rents for which the Departments concerned possess no parliamentary appropriation ; (2) the reduction of £40,000 in value of equipment stocks is as estimated by the Chief Ordnance Officer. —G.
