The following comment is appended: The value of stocks on hand has been accepted on the certificate of the Kauri-gum Superintendent.—G. F. C. Campbell, Controller and Auditor-General. Note. —No charge for debt - redemption was made against this account during the year as authorized by section 12 (b) of the Repayment of the Public Debt Act, 1925. Such charge will be unnecessary in subsequent years, as that authority has since been repealed by section 22 of the Finance Act, 1926.'
