Slaughtering and Inspection Bill. I have the honour to report that the Committee has taken a considerable amount of evidence on the Slaughtering and Inspection Bill, but wishes to place on record its opinion that it is most desirable that such important measures should be brought down earlier in the session. I have the honour to report that the Agricultural and Pastoral Industries and Stock Committee, consisting of ten members, has held five meetings during the session, and that the average attendance of members has been six.
