No. 47/1937. —Petition of Heni Morete and Another, of Te Araroa. Praying for relief in re the Herupara No. 1 Block. I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee this petition should be referred to the Government for inquiry by a special tribunal. 13th September, 1938.

Native Housing Amenbment Bill. I have the honour to report that the Native Affairs Committee has carefully considered the Native Housing Amendment Bill, and recommends that it be allowed to proceed, with amendments as shown on copy of Bill attached. 13th September, 1938.
