No. 50. —Petition of A. S. Holmes and 12 Others (representing the Royal Agricultural Society of New Zealand). Praying that the restrictions on the importation of stock direct from Great Britain be removed. I have the honour to report that the Committee has no recommendation to make. 24th August, 1938.
Stock Amendment Bill. I have the honour to report that the Agricultural and Pastoral Committee have carefully considered the above Bill, and recommend that it be allowed to proceed, with the amendments shown on the copy of the Bill attached hereto. 13th September, 1938.

Special Report. I have the honour to report that the Agricultural and Pastoral Committee desires to place on record its appreciation of the ability and courtesy with which the Chairman, Mr. Roberts, has presided over the meetings of the Committee during the session. I have the honour to report that the Agricultural and Pastoral Committee, consisting of ten members, has held seven meetings during the session, with an average attendance at each meeting of five members.
