ORDERS OF REFERENCE.

Extract from the Journals of the House of Representatives. Friday, the 28th Day of July, 1939. Ordered " That a Select Committee be appointed, consisting by leave, of eleven members, to consider all -Bills or other matters relating to labour which may be referred to it: The Committee to consist of the Hon. Mr. Armstrong, Mr. Barrell, Mr. Chapman, Mr. Coleman, Mr. Combs, the Hon. Mr. Hamilton, Mr. Holland, Mr. McKeen, Mr. Neilson, Mr! Poison, and the Mover."—(Mr. O'Brien, for the Hon. Mb. Webb.) Thursday, the 3rd Day of August, 1939. Ordered, " That all petitions not finally dealt with during the session of 1938 be again referred to the same Committees as they were referred to during the said session. (Hon. Mr. Phaser.) ' Wednesday, the 27th Day of September, 1939. Ordered, " That the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Bill (No. 2) be referred to the Labour Bills Committee." —(Hon. Mr. Webb.) Thursday, the 28th Day of September, 1939. Ordered, " That the Labour Bills Committee have leave to sit during the present sitting of the House.' (Mr. Chapman.)
