Extracts from, the Journals of the House of Representatives Wednesday, the 3rd Day of March, 1943 Ordered, "That the Osteopathic Practitioners Bill be referred to the Public Health Committee"— (Mr. McKisen.) Thursday, the 4th Day op March, 1943 Ordered, " That a Select Committee be appointed, consisting, by leave, of fourteen members to consider all matters relating to public health, infectious diseases, contagious diseases, hospitals and to local authorities having charge of these matters, and to other matters affecting public health which may be referred to it: the Committee to consist of Mr. Acland, Mr. Anderton, Mr. Boswell, the Hon. Mr. Cobbe, Mr. Coleman, Mrs. Dreaver, Mrs. Grigg, Mr. Kyle, Dr. McMillan, the Hon. Mr, Paikca Mr! Richards, Mr. Roy, Mrs. Stewart, and the Mover." —(Hon. Mr. Nordmeyer.) Friday, the sth Day of March, 1943 Ordered, "That all petitions not finally dealt with during the session of 1941-42 bo again referred to the same Committees as they were referred to during the said session." —(Right Hon. Mr. Phaser.) Thursday, the 20th Day of May, 1943 Ordered, " That Select Committees have leave to sit for the remainder of the session on days on which the House does not meet." —(Right Hon. Mr. Fraser.) Wednesday, the 4tii Day of August, 1943 Ordered, " That the Public Health Committee have leave to sit during the sitting of the House on Thursday, the sth day of August."—(Mr. Anderson.)

No. 69/1941. —Petition of L. P. Roache, of Wanganui Praying for compensation for alleged neglect of treatment in hospital. I have the honour to report that in the opinion of the Committee the petition should lie referred to the Government for most favourable consideration. 2nd July, 1943.
