(e) Overexpenditure due, in part, to liabilities carried forward from previous year and also expenditure incurred during the early part of the year under review and prior to economies being effected. L'rospeets for this year are better owing to removal of restrictions stated above, and number of United States of America Military and Naval personnel travelling on furlough. (j) Grants for services, £3; refunds of shortages in cash to staff, £5 6s. 4d.; medical expenses, £4; reimbursement of loss due to accident, £3 ; salvage expenses, £7 10s.; insurance premium, 175.; loss of departmental moneys, £5: total, £28 13s. 4d.
